Change keyboard layout on CentOS (RHEL)

To change temporary (until reboot)

Run the following command

# loadkeys pt-latin1

Permanent setting:

Edit /etc/sysconfig/keyboard and

replace KEYTABLE="us" by KEYTABLE="pt-latin1"

save and reboot
